#Interferències is the result of the altruistic participation and collaboration of more than 150 professionals, in the film industry, audiovisual fields, social entities and local public institutions which invaded the Theatre of the Senses during the two weeks of filming. Concept developing, documentation, preproduction, filming, edition, communication and distribution was made possible thanks to a collaborative work that goes much further than the mere release of the movie.
It is worth noting the coincidence of the first #15M bursts during the filming process and how these movilizations led to changes in the day to day shooting as well as in the final product. On May 16, 2011, with the final scene already written as an invitation to citizens mobilization and with the whole crew ready to start the first shooting day, hundreds of tents began to rise in most of the main squares throughout several Spanish cities, following the events encountered the day before. The energy emanated from the movement caught the entire crew. Several days after, meanwhile the Catalan police tried unsuccessfully to violently evict the campers in Plaza Catalunya, our shooting emplacement was transformed in an outraged makeshift camp. Interferències therefore becomes the film in which the 15M movement did change the ending.
It is also particularly remarkable the process followed for writing the script and the shooting of the film. Both the director and screenwriter established a working system in which the improvisation of the actors was essential to generate a closer and accessible language. Starting from a documentation and training process involving researchers from the Observatory of the Debt, actors, screenwriter and director penetrated into a collective creative process rewritting the final script even during the shooting. The flexibility that this approach provided allowed the inclusion of the real 15M voice inside the film, enriching the project, framing it in reality and increasing the citizens need to be heard.
