About us

Quepo is a non-profit audiovisual entity which works strategic communication in order to create social change. We produce videos, documentaries and fiction to raise awareness of the need for citizen participation and social action. We want to participate in building a more democratic global society, which  involves us all in the defense of social justice and respect for human rights and the environment. We contribute with our experience as professionals to put closer social movements and NGOs to civil society through the creation of audiovisual projects with social content.

The Observatori del Deute en la Globalització (ODG) is an activist research center of North-South generation of debts between communities within the current process of globalization. From ODG we work to set evidence and to try to reverse the mechanisms that perpetuate impoverishment in the South and North-South imbalances. We want to show the complexities and responsibilities that lie behind issues such as debt or the environmental and social impacts of the investments of spanish transnational corporations in the Global South. To achieve this we do research and monitor policies and actors such as the Spanish Government, the transnational corporations or international organizations. From the results of this investigation we pursue capacity building, public awareness, campaigning and advocacy actions.
